Tottenham have agreed on a £11million (KSh. 1,253,538,825) deal to sign Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
According to the Mirror, Spurs have beaten Leicester to the Kenyan midfielder and will sort out medical in the coming days.
Spurs have been willing to buy Wanyama and last season, they almost did it but Ronald Koeman refused to let the young talent go but now, with Koeman in charge at Everton, Spurs have finally snapped up their man.
Wanyama rejected a new deal at Southampton and is keen for a new challenge.
The 24-year-old joined Saints from Celtic in 2013 and impressed on the south coast.
Wanyama made 30 appearances as Southampton finished sixth last season.
Former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino however is keen to bolster his squad with Tottenham in the Champions League next season.
