Wholesome TV, a new station that was established in Kenya has been closed idefinately following its serious financial issues
The TV station has been running since 2013 and it was declared bankrupt just recently rendering its workers jobless.
According to reports, the employees were notified that broadcasting had been suspended until further notice, that production of programmes had been stopped
Commonly known abbreviated as WTV, the station is reportedly owned by a group of local investors going by the name Foundation Media Group and Mwakazi was the CEO of the station that branded its self as a business channel.
The celebrated journalist who resigned from the Royal Media Services-owned Citizen TV to pursue personal goals, joined the startup back in 2014.
A report by Business Today suggests that the station has been having some serious financial issues which saw employees miss their monthly salaries a few times, forcing some to ditch the station before the vessel went down.
Mwakazi was at the peak of his career when he left the RMS job in search of greener pastures.
