Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD)  has been bubbling under the face over who should be CORD’s flag bearer come 2017.

This is after Moses Wetangula told Raila Odinga that the huge crowds that have been gathering at his political rallies in Western Kenya will not vote for him.

Mr. Wetangula who was speaking on KTN  said that Raila Odinga should not vie for the presidency since he is not the best suited among the three CORD leaders to face Uhuru.

This was not the first time that Mr. Wetangula was alleging that Odinga shouldn’t contest in the 2017 general elections.

During his rallies after launching his presidential bid, Mr. Wetangula was quoted widely saying that Mr. odinga should support whoever shall win between Wetangula and Kalonzo rather than join the race.

Mr. Odinga has been in Western region in an attempt to counter a revolt within ODM that is being led by Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba.

At the interview, Wetang’ula said the time has come for Raila to bring in fresh ideas and people that will support the party without losing hope in the process.

“People vote for you unapita unaibiwa, unapita unaibiwa wanaanza kufikiria ya kwamba hata tukipigiwa kura pengine zitaibiwa (people vote for you, the votes are stolen and they start to think that even if they vote for you again the same thing will happen ) it will be the same thing,” he said.
