President Uhuru Kenyatta has today sacked David Kimaiyo who was the chairman of the Kenya Airports Authority
Kimaiyo has been replaced by former military chief Julius Karangi.
The appointed KAA Chairman, Mr. Karangi has served in the Kenyan military for 42 years.
Karangi retired as military chief in May 2015 but his term is set to officially end in July 2016.
In the remaining weeks, he continues to hand over power to his successor, General Samson Mwathethe.
According to the Daily Nation, it is not yet clear why Kimaiyo was replaced considering he has only been in office for more than a year and half since his December 2014 call to duty.
