Are you in the dark? Don’t worry. You are not alone. Millions of Kenyans are facing again yet another national blackout. Kenya Power reports.
This has come barely two months since another national blackout occurred which was caused by “monkey business” in one of the main sub stations.
Kenya Power and Lighting Company, KPLC, blames the blackout that has seen Kenya be in the dark for more than eight hours now on tripping of main supply line Olkaria Nairobi 220KV line.
While Kenyans are very bitter about the incident, the company is working to restore supply.
Restoration works are currently going on we expect normal supply to resume in all areas as soon as possible. ^KK
