KDF Responds To Raila Claims On Rigging Votes

National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, claimed that the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) are being used by the Jubilee Government in rigging the August 8th General Election.

Addressing a Press Conference at his Capitol Hill offices, Raila said over 100 selected KDF soldiers were dispatched to Kakamega County to rig the General Election.

But speaking on Wednesday, KDF soldiers from Kahawa Barracks asked Raila Odinga to stop touching a live wire.

The soldiers who requested anonymity urged Raila Odinga to concentrate with his campaigns and stop dragging KDF’s name into his mess.

The soldiers said KDF is a disciplined force and they cannot engage in silly and petty things that Raila Odinga is clamming.

“We want Raila Odinga to apologise to KDF or face dire consequences after August 8,” one Brigadier said

However, The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has declared that it will not appeal the decision by the Court of Appeal that presidential results announced at the constituency level will be final

The announcement came just hours after some Jubilee leaders led by Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri stated that the decision should be appealed at the Supreme Court
