Former President Hospitalised After Falling Seriously Ill


Former US President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalised after falling seriously ill.

Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital after his condition got worse.

The 92-year-old has been out of the public spotlight after his health deteriorated in the last decade.

According to CNN, the former president’s chief of staff confirmed he was doing fine at hospital after his admission.

Bush was confined to a wheelchair after Parkinson’s disease ravaged his body.

Bush is the father former US president George W Bush.

His son George W served as the 43rd US president from 2001 to 2009, when the Republican Party lost to Barack Obama and his Democratic Party.

The senior Bush, served as the 41st US president for one term from 1988 to 1992.

In 2014, Bush was admitted to hospital after having problems breathing.

The family and aide to the former president said he will miss the inauguration of controversial businessman Donald Trump as the 45th president of the US.

Trump will be inaugurated on Friday, January 18, in Washington DC.
