Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti was put on the spot on social media after she posted the wrong message to the Muslims community on Facebook.

The new post reads, “On behalf of the people of Machakos County, I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed Holy month of Ramadhan. The auspicious month symbolises peace, humility and sacrifice. May this Ramadhan bring you prosperity”.
However, Wavinya made the post amidst her political wars after The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal nullified her win for the second time.
The tribunal directed the Wiper Party to urgently nominate her as its candidate for governor in Machakos following drama with the primary elections. Wavinya Ndeti is competing with Machakos deputy governor, Benard Kiala, for the gubernatorial seat
