KTN’s Mohammed Ali has revealed through social media that his life is in great danger barely days after his exposé – Kaburi La Wazi II .
The exposé was on the controversial brutal murder of businessman Jacob Juma early this year.
On his twitter handle, Ali confirmed that he had received death threats following his investigative piece which exposed that police had killed a four-man gang to cover up the murder of the -businessman.
“RE: Jacob Juma. Targeting the journalists who are on that trail just shows how much those behind his murder DON’T believe in the law,” John Allan Namu wrote.
In response to Mr Namu’s statement, an unmoved Ali said: “God is great. Let them come”.
Shortly after the revelations emerged, the Jicho Pevu reporter’s timeline was awash with posts from his followers which he re-tweeted, seemingly nodding to the validity of the remarks.
“Moha Jicho Pevu receives death threat after exposing those who killed Jacob Juma. The system is not happy,” one of his followers noted.
A fearless Ali, however, highlighted that: “I REFUSE TO DIE. WE MUST STOP THIS BEFORE THEY WIPE OUT THE ENTIRE GENERATION”.
This is not the first time the KTN journalist has received death threats after an exposé touching on people in power.
