Former Citizen TV business anchor Terryanne Chebet is keeping herself busy despite being axed a few days ago from Royal Media Services.
The celebrated business journalist on Friday, October 29, shared with her Instagram followers how delighted she was thanks to a new opportunity that has come knocking.
“Super excited to be speaking tomorrow with entrepreneurs at Cytonn Foundation, so refreshing to jump onto this train. I’m learning with great humility, that God does open other doors and I must be bold enough to find and knock on them. If you are where I am, don’t stay down… find a light and run towards it,” Terryanne said.
Now that the former high-earning TV girl is off the TV screens, she seems to have embarked on full-time running of her companies – Keyara Organics and Scarlet Digital.
Keyara, Tuko notes, is a skin care company while Scarlet is a branding and social media agency.
According to sources, Terryann was axed from RMS because of her high salary yet she mostly anchored news (once a week, mostly) and only did minimal reporting.
The SK Macharia owned media house is on a restructuring process whose goal is to trim the wage bill at RMS which is Kenya’s largest media house.
